We are now looking for two Data Analyst at our Product & Data team, IMC IKEA Marketing & Communication Team in Älmhult. Do you want to join us?
Job description
As a Data Analyst, you will play an important part in our cross-functional product teams, dedicated to developing data-driven digital products that optimize business processes and enhance efficiency within IMC. In collaboration with colleagues across IKEA, you will build analytical features using data processing and data pipelines from multiple sources. This will result in user-friendly reports to provide insights built on data. You can convert complex and large data sets into understandable facts that leads to actionable insights. This will help us to make operational and strategic data-driven decisions in our everyday work.
Your responsibility and tasks will include:
- Data Collection and Acquisition: Gathering data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and structured and unstructured data sets.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Ensuring data quality by cleaning, transforming, and making data usable for analysis.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Applying statistical techniques and tools to analyze data sets, identify trends, and interpret results.
- Data Visualization: Creating visual representations of data, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to make findings accessible and understandable.
- Report Generation: Producing reports that highlight key insights, findings, and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Build trustful relationships and collaborate cross teams to understand different data needs and provide actionable insights.
About You
We believe you are a communicative person, a problem solver with a passion for understanding data, who enjoys a mix of team collaboration and individual work. You should have experience in structuring and visualization of data. Furthermore, we think you have the ability to communicate insights and learnings based on data to different target groups.
Qualification
- Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, mathematics or equivalent, experience in digital marketing is a plus
- Experience working in equal or comparable position for at least 3 years
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights. This involves critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Statistical Knowledge: A strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques to conduct accurate data analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools and software such as PowerBI, Databricks, SQL, Python.
- Data Visualization: The ability to create clear and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
