What you do as a Product Sourcing Developer

In this role, you will have a great opportunity to develop a high performing supplier base globally along with the Category and develop products at lowest total cost for the many people. You will cooperate with business teams across the Supply organization contributing towards the business goals. You will be part of a development team, responsible for ensuring supply chain and supplier perspective in the development of NEWs, Improves and Running range products.

You will:

  • Enable exploration of different materials and Category capabilities to secure the right category selection in product development,

  • Be responsible for creating complete business cases for the assigned product segments, in alignment with the supply categories,

  • Initiate and propose cost down and cost out activities together with supply categories,

  • Contribute to the tactical portfolio planning for the assigned product segments.


What you bring to us:

  • Experience is beneficial, but not necessary. We would be happy to have your application if you match the below, but have not spent many years at work

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written,

  • Excellent command of Excel and/or Power BI,

  • Ability to learn quickly, to navigate the unknown and to create structure,

  • Ability to build partnerships, and to work with a wide variety of people with different backgrounds and cultures,

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills,

  • Ability to have both a detailed and holistic perspective,

  • Strong indirect leadership skills,

  • Solution-oriented approach, with a go-getter attitude.

The position is in Älmhult, Sweden. Please note that it is required to be located physically in Sweden and working a majority of the week at the office. Älmhult has commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
